The Group Riding Course
This 2 hour class is a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) training module and is used by Harley Owners Group and others for training their Road Captains that lead group rides. The course covers the, "Need to Know", information about riding in a group and presents the steps needed to ensure a safe, fun, and sucessful group ride. You will learn about ride preparation, standards for organization of the ride, and important knowledge such as proper formations in complex traffic situations.
This class will present the following topics:

Things you need to do before you start your group ride.

What happens if somone lags behind or has mechanical problems.

Learn about single file versus staggered formations and when to use each type.

Learn about riding with large groups and how to organize a large group for a safer ride.

Common and not so common hand signals, how and when to use them

Negotiating intersections as a group

Parking as a group

Merging as a group

Passing

Leaving the group

What to do when separated from the group

Group riding with experienced and inexperienced riders
